I’m working on a Art & Design discussion question and need support to help me study.
In this week’s discussion please review the PowerPoint below and consider the aesthetics consistent with the photographers in Japan in the 60’s and 70’s. This was a time of uprising and change under the capitalist engine and American occupation in Japan. Most of these photographers were in their 20’s and 30’s at the time. What parallels do you see in Japanese culture during this time and the world today?
Share your thoughts on the Provoke era photography. Think about urban space, protest and performance. As per usual, please respond to two other posts after you have posted. (Just write two paragraph for a discussion post)
