I don’t know how to handle this Art & Design question and need guidance.
ARTS 1303 Essay Topic
The topic and object must fall within the scope of our book survey:
45,000 BCE to 1300 CE.
Write in 14pt. script with Times New Roman font
Put your full name with the class title and number on the assignment!
Answer the following about your object in bullet-type format only (do not submit an essay–one sentence for each inquiry will do):
1-Preliminary title for the essay (make it sassy and interesting-catch the reader’s attention-the title should allude to some aspect of your essay).
2-Name of the Art Work (its popular title, museum or catalog classification).
3-Current Location of the Art Work (museum, collection or site).
4-The Cultural Period of Art Work (i.e. Late Roman, Classic Maya, Neolithic).
5-Estimated Date or Actual Date of the Art Work.
6-Classification of the Art Work (a stele, book, sculpture, fresco, cup, vase etc.)
7-Its Material Construction/Medium (what is it made from? list the specific ingredients: painted stucco on cedar wood, tempera paint mixed with wax on cloth, glaze on fired ceramic, ivory with gold inlay etc.)
8-Provide two sharp photos of the work on two separate pages (one full, one profile or detailed pic.–color preferred); give proper attribution to each photo (photographer/Institution) at the bottom of each page.
9. List THREE or more Published References using American Anthropological Association style format (AAA citations). These need to come from sources you actually plan to quote from (Wikipedia and online blogs/websites/bogs are NOT legit. sources). All citations must be relevant to the topic. DO NOT GIVE HYPERLINKS to the online source in your citation. For example:
