I’m working on a Physics question and need guidance to help me study.
Let’s talk about a topic which is very important for astronomy – light pollution. Go to http://darksky.org/light-pollution/ and see the video Losing the Dark and read up on light pollution.
Then go outdoors and notice the lights in your neighborhood and parking lots. See how many stars you can count over the next few days. Give the date, location and star count in your post. And answer the following questions in your post:
1. List one item about light pollution that you were not aware of before you read this topic.
2. How would you reduce light pollution if you had the resources?
3. Considering the real-life limitations, what can you do about light pollution?
